ABSTRACT
Human relations within an organization cease only on employee. This study was therefore conducted to find out the impact of information technology on secretarial profession in Nigeria. In analyzing the data, simple percentage were used.
The study reveals that modern machines would not cause job displacement of secretaries in organization’s today but enhance their performance and thereby increasing productivity
This research also shows that the office machines boost productivity in places of work and this affects the overall productivity of the firm or the organization. And finally that Modern Technology increases productivity, it promotes organizational reputation, It improves the performances of the employee, it also makes research and development easier, and It increases company’s turnover
